Valentina Barrón García

Valentina is passionate about sustainable food systems in a world affected by climate change. For her Rise project, she developed pathways to make sustainable living accessible for vulnerable people in her community, prototyping a hydroponic system for fruit and vegetable production to help foster sustainable nutrition. She received the The Goi Peace Foundation International Essay Contest Certificate of Participation, The Model of United Nations Award for Outstanding Participation, and the Concurso Cartel de la Paz de Lions International.
