Rise Fellow 2022

Socrates is a young software developer and innovator from Peru. He wants to devote his life to solving our biggest issues such as climate change  using technology. For his Rise project, he brought to life Salvavidas, an app that connects children in need with support organizations using crowdsourcing. He also developed Fonoface, an app that helped the elderly easily make calls during COVID-19 isolation. Socrates plans to study computer science at UC Berkeley in the pursuit of contributing to a more sustainable world.
