Rise Fellow 2023

Saanvi is a student who leverages technology to solve global challenges. She is a Clinical Researcher at the intersection of Machine Learning and Medical Science and, for her clinical research, won the International Young Investigator Award from the European Academy of Pediatric Societies. After a personal experience, Saanvi realized that developing countries lose tens of thousands of children to Down Syndrome annually, primarily due to late detection. For her Rise project, she developed a highly accurate, universally accessible, free-of-cost, non-invasive diagnostic test for Down Syndrome. In her spare time, she enjoys critically analyzing and sharing art with the world through her Art Appreciation Club.
