Prakash is an Indian writer and filmmaker who strives to raise awareness of social issues and challenges faced by rural populations. For his Rise project, he started an NGO that creates content around the handicrafts, festivals, and other cultural events of rural communities to share their stories and address their underrepresentation in mainstream media. Prakash plans to earn his PhD in Cinematic Arts and hopes to become a filmmaker dedicated to social causes.
