Nikhar is a mental health and STEM advocate from South Africa. He is eager to raise awareness of mental health issues, particularly among teenage boys. Alongside his advocacy work, he is committed to his leadership role as Treasurer of the Representative Council of Learners (RCL) at his school. For his Rise project, Nikhar created a support group at his school to break down the stigma associated with mental health and provide peer-to-peer counseling and advice. Nikhar enjoys outdoor sports such as cricket and tennis in his free time. He is also an avid fisherman and loves spending time on the beach and participating in beach clean-ups. He is a multifaceted individual dedicated to making a positive impact on his community and beyond.
