Naana is a math enthusiast who is determined to help others. She has excelled in numerous maths competitions and represented Ghana in prestigious olympiads such as the International Junior Science Olympiad and the Pan-African Math Olympiad. She cares deeply about the environment and has written various research papers about pertinent environmental issues such as biodiversity loss and pollution. Naana also loves to debate and is an active member of the Model UN Club at her school. For her Rise project, Naana addressed the lack of access to quality STEM education in underprivileged schools by creating and distributing sustainable resources that give teachers access to practical and effective STEM projects, teaching strategies, and low-cost experiments. Her hobbies include reading, listening to music, and solving puzzles.
