Meera believes changing the world begins with transforming individual narratives. She was the youngest person and first Asian-American to be awarded the title of 2020 U.S. Youth Poet Laureate. She is currently a UNA-USA Global Goals Ambassador. Through the creation of her non-profit organization, GreatHER, Meera has set out to use artivism to empower BIPOC women into positions of leadership. She envisions a sustainable future being achieved at the intersection of creativity and research.
