Rise Global Winner 2023

Joshua has a passion for teaching. Through his work with "Schoolhouse.world," Joshua gained a unique perspective on education by teaching physics and SAT prep to students with diverse backgrounds across the world. He is dedicated to creating a robust online community for education and plans to employ his leadership skills and commitment to social improvement to positively impact the world through education. For his Rise project, Joshua sought to educate, inspire, and guide students to pursue physics-related careers. Joshua believes that scientists, physicists, and engineers are in the best position to solve humanity's most significant issues. In the future, he hopes to apply his knowledge of physics to tackle the climate crisis.
