Jessica Yao Guo

Jessica is an activist in China. She conducts charity events, does volunteer teaching, and directs a student-run organization that promotes service work to its 1,900+ followers. She loves architecture and hopes to use technology to combat environmental issues. For her Rise project, she designed a sustainably renovated house in her hometown after conducting research on environmental architecture and interviewing villagers. Jessica’s goal for the future is to build sustainable houses for rural areas.
