Fatma Mahmoud

Fatma spends much of her time on making projects to solve the world’s biggest challenges such as climate change and water shortage. She was selected for her excellence in science and technology to study in a STEM school in Egypt. Fatma won a hackathon competition to create a project to desalinate seawater using sugar cane and solve the water shortage crisis. She also won the Sheikha Fadia competition in the Arab world for making projects to solve water and energy challenges. For her Rise project, she worked to decrease global warming, prevent climate change, and improve prevent car exhaust gasses from polluting the air.
