Rise Fellow 2024

Asya is a 16-year-old programmer from Turkey, passionate about using technology and science to address real-world issues, which led her to develop AI systems and green energy projects. Her Rise project, ULT-AI, focused on the early detection of breast cancer using deep learning-based ultrasonography. ULT-AI offers an analysis of the case, tumor features, classification, and detection of tumorous regions with high accuracy. Asya's innovative approach offers a fast, accurate, and cost-effective diagnostic tool. As a dedicated advocate for social change, Asya’s vision is to leverage technology to enhance access to education, healthcare, and vital services to impact society positively.
