Asher is a Nigerian mental health advocate and aspiring Structural Engineer who ardently promotes female participation in STEM. For her Rise project, she researched the stigmatization of young mental health patients in Southwestern Nigeria. She serves as Executive Director at Young Females in Tech & Creatives under YouthUp Global and writes for the Youth Journal of STEM Research. She hopes to promote equity, health, and safety in the world through her work as a writer, volunteer, and engineer.
