Yutong is a Chinese actress and filmmaker focused on racial injustice. Her Rise project highlighted the lack of representation of Asians in the film industry. She focused on Asians living in America, creating a mini-documentary based on their experiences for a film festival. She has been a lead actor or played an active role in several plays and musicals. She has also taken on leadership roles in her school, such as chairing the National Honors Society and organizing an International Day or Wage to Win Fundraiser.
