Sahiti is a student and digital developer whose passion lies in computer science and entrepreneurship. Her mission is to make an impact by spreading opportunities, with a focus on creating inclusive, diverse environments in STEM. In addition to multiple national & international awards, Sahiti was a global Conrad Challenge Power Pitch Winner in Cyber-Technology and Security for BIOMET, a biometric identification system designed to serve low-income populations. In her spare time, she organizes hackathons worldwide, writes poetry, leads gender-minority events dedicated to teaching code, reads books, creates digital designs, and curates educational content for her small business reaching over students in 94 countries. For her Rise project, she created DriveSmart, an AI-driven driving assistant app that mitigates distracted driving among new drivers. DriveSmart uses facial recognition to detect fatigue and distraction, aiming to reduce driving accidents by fostering safer, more attentive driving habits.
