Monique is passionate about technology, education and raising awareness about racism. She is the founder of HackWise hackathons, which inspire students to utilize technology to advance the UN Sustainable Development Goals. For her Rise project, Monique worked with the School Division of Quirino in the Philippines to create ThinkTech, a programme that will teach primary school students the basics of programming. Monique raised funds to buy more computers and make the program available to the broader community.
