Yannis is an aspiring inventor and psycholinguist in Hong Kong. She wants to use technology and research to help seniors, patients with chronic diseases, and children. Her Rise project—Balance Game—works with Smart Insole to train the balance of seniors. She is also researching how different age groups process ambiguous sentences to help identify signs of cognitive decline and has presented findings at an international conference. Yannis was appointed as the UNICEF Young Envoy for her work in promoting children’s rights.
