Michael, an educator with a profound love for literature, holds the prestigious title of East Africa's best speller. He channels his fondness for communication through music, displaying enthusiasm for the piano and guitar. As evidence of his mathematical prowess, Michael secured fifth place in Uganda's National Math Contest and is quick to share his knowledge, occasionally taking the lead in teaching classes at his high school. For his Rise project, Michael launched a YouTube channel, serving as a platform to exemplify the potential of peer teaching online. Beyond imparting knowledge, Michael strives to convey to children that they possess the ability to educate others, even when resources are limited.
