Jenifer Tamayo Topete

Jenifer is a 16-year-old from La Paz, Mexico, who is interested in science and technology. She regularly conducts science experiments and loves learning about chemistry, reading, nature, and public speaking. Jenifer applied her knowledge to fight climate change and was selected to represent Mexico in the "ExpoCiencias Chile 2023". In 2022, Jenifer was also recognized as one of Mexico's top 5 STEM students. For her Rise project, she developed an economic and ecological water-based fuel generated by electrolysis to create a prototype to replace cooking gas. She hopes to establish the first social business in Mexico that sells water-based fuel generators for kitchens.
