In the past several years, Hank has grown passionate about working for the common good of humanity. Having seen the impact that polarization and media bubbles have on young people in the U.S., he decided to tackle those issues. For his Rise project, Hank founded the Montana Student Journalist Initiative to help middle and high schools in his state to start and sustain their high school newspapers. Hank believes that student journalism can help inform students and prepare them for a lifetime of working for the shared benefit of all people.
