Gul Karen Aca

Gul Karen works with like-minded peers and professionals in their fields to equalize science access, decrease migration-related marginalization, and activate interest in brain science. For her Rise project, Karen sought to support refugee integration by leading a team of psychologists and lawyers as well as translating articles and legal documents into Arabic. She also taught Turkish, robotics, and handcrafting to kids and refugee women. Gul Karen believes in the transformative power of unity to redefine what is possible.
