Divit Chopra is a researcher, orator, and robotic programmer living in India. His interests lie at the intersection of Biochemistry, Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, Geopolitics, World Affairs, and Political Systems. He aims to apply concepts hedged within science and technology to address pertinent issues faced by underrepresented and underprivileged communities. He envisions his country as a truly electrified state, providing affordable, clean, and renewable energy to both rural and urban  communities. Thus, he aims to solve the problem of inadequate rural electrification in India. His Rise Project, Project Ummeed, strives towards the very same objective, aiming to provide affordable, clean, and infrastructure-independent electricity to isolated rural communities through the Enhanced Anodic Substrate Fuel Cell, a novel Microbial Electricity Generator.
