Christella is a Rwandan high school student passionate about using technology to address mental health challenges. Selected for prestigious programs such as the Yale Young African Scholars Program 2024 and the Isomo Circles Program, Christella demonstrates a dedication to academic excellence and cross-cultural learning. Beyond her academic pursuits, Christella is deeply committed to serving her community, particularly those facing mental health challenges. Through her Rise project, she developed a website to provide support for individuals navigating mental health issues. Her project has dismantled stigmas surrounding mental health and empowered individuals to seek help. As a dedicated community advocate, Christella continues to work towards creating a more supportive and inclusive environment for all.
