Rise Fellow 2024

Ivianna is an innovative and driven youth advocate in the United States who actively works to address food insecurity across the globe. Passionate about finding effective and creative solutions to tackle this issue, for her Rise project she designed the Health is Wealth Initiative. She developed a multifaceted plan to reach diverse populations in her community, utilizing a website with detailed resources, creating recipe cards with nutritious and inexpensive ingredients, and hosting local events and seminars. Beyond advocacy, Ivianna's passion for innovation led her to design a smart circuit for produce sorting, addressing farm worker shortages. As she envisions her future, she aims to combine her interest in biomedical engineering with her commitment to food security, developing innovative medical devices to improve healthcare accessibility.
