Rise Fellow 2022

Ikenna has found his passion in helping the underprivileged and the marginalized in his community in Nigeria. He has a keen interest in politics and computer science and hopes to learn more about cybersecurity and explore innovative ways to curb cyber problems in an increasingly digitized world. For his Rise project, Ikenna addressed the growing issue of cyber-attacks in Nigeria following  the COVID pandemic. He did this by developing a website called “Cybersecurity & You,” performing a skit with friends on The dangers of cyber ignorance, and setting up awareness posters within his community to educate Nigerian teens on the importance of cybersecurity.
